I booked a room with a comfortable bed, coffee, 2 large windows and air conditioning.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city. We were just steps away from the city center and attractions. The room had a beautiful view of the river and castle, which added to the charm of our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering us a room upgrade upon check-in. The breakfast was delicious with a good selection of food. Despite a few minor inconveniences like a small shower and lack of a kettle in the room, our overall experience at Hotel Alter Kranen was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Wurzburg.

Well-equipped and modern room with a view, WONDERFUL position. Location close enough to Christmas market and excellent Resturant nearby and restaurants and bars and restaurants.

I had a great value for my money at Alter Kranen. The room had a lovely view of the river and the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff treated me well, especially the friendly gentleman at checkout.

Double room is well-equipped, has a particularly good bathroom. You will find central heating, a safe and multi-channel TV. The hotel staff are helpful.

The hotel's location is unbeatable; it's right at the city center and next to the beautiful river with stunning views of the castle. The breakfast served was great and had an amazing view of the river. The staff was exceptional and always pleasant. The hotel was also incredibly clean.

This hotel has the perfect location! You can easily walk to all the major attractions and enjoy the beautiful river views. The rooms are updated and super clean with comfortable beds and great Wi-Fi. The breakfast is excellent with many options, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can park in one of their limited private garages and there's also an elevator available. The road outside is quiet, so you can have a good sleep.

The hotel could improve its electronic entry machine as some guests might find it confusing.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel by the river in Wurzburg. The location was excellent, with bars, restaurants, and most places of interest just a short walk away. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom looked brand new. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, like the automatic sensor light in the bathroom and the ample storage space. Plus, the view of the river from my room was absolutely breathtaking.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was great.
